For road biking enthusiast, Winter Creek is ideally located for a flat start and finish to many great local rides. Looking for a short ride? Take the 28 mile out and back ride to Squaw. Want something a little longer? Head into town and follow historic Donner Pass Road approximately 21 miles (1,300 ft. climb) to Donner Lake’s West End where your ride will include cruising along the shores of beautiful Donner Lake and climbing old Highway 40 to The Sugar Bowl Ski Resort.

Golf: There are a dozen first rate, championship 18-hole golf courses within 20 minutes of Sierra Bluffs. Some of the most scenic, challenging and best maintained courses that the Sierra Nevadas have to offer are easily accessible. Plus there are numerous courses, from muni to country club, just down the road in Reno.
