The pristine Truckee Regional Park is a hub for Truckee locals and visitors alike. Located directly across the street from Winter Creek, this 62 acre park is one of the most diverse Regional Parks in the Tahoe Basin or America for that matter with free amenities for all. Where else can you play softball, kick-ball, tennis, basketball, Frisbee golf, ice skate, have a picnic on the Truckee River, walk or run along the 3 mile Legacy Trail, fly-fish, see great concerts, watch a professional rodeo, or enjoy a state of the art skate park?

NATURE & RIVER TRAILS – The nature trail winds through the Regional Park. This trail exhibits 12 different native and naturalized plant communities of the Truckee area. With picnic sites and benches along the way, the river trail runs along the beautiful Truckee River section of the park for swimming, fishing, fly-fishing, walking, running, biking, and just plain relaxing.

While you cannot hear the concerts from Winter Creek, you can and should take the short walk to enjoy the great live entertainment.
